A philosopher’s life

Lifestyle over 50.

A philosopher’s life… well, more like an hour of it, but truly, you don’t get the chance to photograph a philosopher every day.

These are real lifestyle photos, as, alongside the business-like official portraits. My client wanted to be seen as a private person as well. Thats why I love to use the studios of ndustrial  because there so easy to set up for lifestyle background. I was so happy that man asked me this kind of session. It is very rare but I found it so good. He wanted to see himself a good 50’s man in professional pictures not on unprofessional mobile ones.

Even had the opportunity to photograph tai chi movements, which was particularly interesting for me.

We quickly found our rhythm together, as there were many shared points of connection on the axis of Buddhism, yoga.  Tai chi moments were something that really helped to distract the model’s attention from the clicking black camera.

I love when I can get to know my “subject” a little during the shoot, letting the soul emerge from behind the face.

During both business and private portrait sessions, I often engage in conversations with my “model”. I’ve photographed a wide range of personalities—some can naturally smile at the camera, while others find it frustrating. I completely understand that, as I became a photographer, not a model. In these cases, the instructions I give are extremely helpful, and I have plenty of tips and tricks up my sleeve to make my clients feel comfortable and confident.
